isn't insidious + reckless kind of counter-productive?

Maybe, but Reckless Haste + SS certainly isn't.

For some reason they seem to work agaisnt the dwarves in Slaver's Exile. They also work agaisnt other types of enemies.

I've just made it through 4 waves of Glints challenge, more or less AFK with those builds for necro Heros and 4 henchies...I could have done better with a non fire ele build for myself and better choice of henchies.
2nd try, made it thru activly playing with no issues....

Thanks! o.o
Insidious and Defile Flesh are kinda "meh" skills, if you have anything else you want in there like Desecrate Enchantments, Rip Enchantment and so forth, or some utility skill like Wards or Extinguish you can drop them in. Their energy's never an issue so they can afford to use all sorts of expensive stuff.

Just wondering, what dungeon is that? It's kind of hard to tell since most dungeons end up using the same rooms.

Yeah, if you take a look at the screen shot I have attached, you'll see, I have slightly changed your build adding Defile and Desecrate Enchantments to curses necro

Well, while reckless reduces effectiveness of insidious these two hexes are far from being counter-productive. To me its a win-win situation - when they miss they don't do damage, when they hit they heal you with their own health

Interesting, I'm going to have to give this build a try later. Finally give all three necro heroes a purpose

Oooh, what about an all-necro team (2 human + 6 hero necros)? Dual N/Rt restoration (maybe 3 - removing a redundant MM) should be plenty of healing/prot, right? Not to mention coverage from the curses and MMs. *salivates*

Yeah; necros dominate pve. My own hero build includes a ranger for the BHA, but she makes herself useful to the teams with backup shouts to buff the party and minions.
If I have one thing to add to this: I usually don't like to use things that take 2 seconds to cast. Spiteful Spirit and Enfeebling Blood are pretty useful for their casting times, but I never use Desecrate Enchantments. Necros are so versatile that I can't afford to waste their potential on 2s casts.

I tried the builds out last night, worked like a charm. Stupidly power infact, I love it haha. Do you think a real RT would do well for that restoration build?

Necroes are used on purpose (lots of energy due to soul reaping). I've even been thinking on replacing both monks with 2 N/Mo.

I think N/Rt will probably be superior to N/Mo because monk heals are balanced around you having a divine favor bonus, while the ritualist heals are balanced around conditions that can also be fulfilled by a Rt secondary (e.g. within earshot of a spirit).

So what armour Insignia and rune setups are recommended for the heroes?

Tried the build and went to an area I'd been having issues with: Diessa Lowlands in Hardmode. It took a long time to vanquish, but that was just because there's over 300 enemies spread out over a pretty large area. I couldn't believe I was having such an easy time. I play Flame Barrager with Pain Inverter, and while there were a couple of times I wiped due to over aggro, I didn't have too much problems. I had been trying to find a four man build for the longest. Nice build.

MM = Bloodstained insignia on boots, Undertaker Insignia for the rest, +3 Death on head piece, +1 Soul Reaping, +1 blood. I don't keep any + health on MM due to lager health lost with the sacrifice spells
Curses necro = + 1-3 Curses on head piece +1 Soul Reaping, + Health all the way
Resto necro = +1 soul reaping on the head piece, + health or anything of your choice for the rest
Doesn't really matter anyway
